It's A Serious Addiction, No Really It Is Part II

The Sims. There is so much to say and yet so little to say. The addiction has been taken to a new level. I have now started to reply to people in Simlish instead of English.

Gentraw vassnal? Ice-a weis goo, geevalsh. Sohul sohul. Comet schnaller. Tirah mar. Oh matmanna schnaller. Deg deg.

They just usually shake their head and walk away after that. My dad thinks that the most human seeming thing in the game is the robot that cleans the house.

Sometimes it seems that they have it all too easy. They can get a robot to make them dinner. They can just buy a ready done roast, their friends always bring them flowers or chocolates or fruitcake (ick, but at least it never goes off). They never get fat. They can change clothes by spinning around really quickly (hello Wonder Woman) and always have themselves pixelated if they are showering or going to the toilet. They dont have weekends but they only have to go to work one day out of every two. They dont have to worry about getting a uni degree and having job interviews. And a hug or back rub will solve most disputes with friends and family. Aint that the life.

Im currently obsessed with having my people get a promotion at work every day. This consists of building up their skills before they get a job and making up families in the neighbourhood that are purely to have as friends (with ominous surnames like Advantages and Promotions) and will never know the stress of a job nor the comfort of a bed or bathroom or anything resembling a house.

I currently have a Newspaper Reporter and a Lifeguard (who was a Smuggler in the Life of Crime career track but he needed too many friends) and thats only after four days. Cant wait to see what the career track will throw at these two next.
