Mundane Wednesday (If Only It Was Monday It Would Have Almost Rhymed) The stuff I�m doing at work at the moment is incredibly mundane. Most people would go off their rocker at the extreme repetitiveness and boredom, but not me! It must be the two year old part of my brain that likes to do really simple things over and over again. I can hear shades of my mother going �it�s the only way she�ll learn�. I�m doing all these property searches and it�s just the same thing over and over again all day. I can�t get enough of it! I also like it when The Omen gives me data entry to do, it�s amazingly great! Okay, okay, so there is a real reason other than �I like it, no really I do�. It gives me the chance to catch up on all my CD-listening-to. I buy albums and months later they are still sitting on the shelf singing the that-bitch-that-bought-me-and-played-me-once-for-the-song-she-knew-and-then-just-abandoned-me-on-this-dusty-shelf-with-all-the-rest blues. I need time to sit down and immerse myself in the music so my apologies to Toni Braxton, Linkin Park, Creed and Nickelback � I�ll get to you some time next week, I swear. Today it�s a choice of music from all different walks of life that I put together for a book I wrote. Yes the book had a soundtrack, two actually. Quite a selection of artists too: Melanie, Hunters and Collectors, Jewel, The Turtles, Hanson, Natalie Imbruglia, Mariah Carey, Kasey Chambers, Gene Pitney, Peter Paul & Mary, Green Day, Marilyn Manson, KCi & JoJo, Melanie B feat. Missy Elliot, Lani, The Divinyls, Bic Runga, Celine Dion, Nsync, Wendy Matthews, Sheryl Crow and Scott Moffatt. So now you know what type of music I�m into. I�m a fruit loop aren�t I? Can�t decide on a genre, or a decade for that matter. I chose all the songs for their lyrical connections to the story line. A muscle above my eye has been twitching since 6.20 this morning and it�s really starting to get to me. It�ll stop for ten minutes or so and then it�ll kick back in for at least 2 hours at a time. There is a red patch above my eye because I keep pressing the twitch to make it stop. It�s like I have a little mini heartbeat going on right there.
