He�s So Lucky He�s A Stray My parents have added to the pet family at my old house. Our dog Smit has abandonment issues and barks a lot, driving the neighbours crazy, and my sis told the dog psychologist at her work and they suggested we get a friend for Smit. Yes I laughed at the fact that there is a dog psychologist � it�s the RSPCA, of course they are going to have one. Silly though, they are probably just trying to off load one of the dogs that�s been there for a while. Well, it worked. The dog is a cross poodle/Australian silky named Lucky. Dad didn�t like the name though and renamed him Buddy which he seems to answer to. He�s a little timid around people at first (which is to be expected) and seems very much to be a woman�s dog. Which is nice for Mum, because Smit worships Dad. Buddy follows Mum around the house all the time and dances around in circles when she comes home at night. Too cute! I really didn�t want to comment about the terrorist attacks in Bali, hence no entry yesterday. I�m trying desperately to put it out of my mind (although my best wishes go out to the relatives and friends of those that are dead or injured) because I�m going on holidays on Saturday and all this talk of Al-Qaida and whatnot is really frightening me. I don�t want to get on a plane, but I have to. I don�t want to have paid for this and then waste the money by not going. It�s not a bravery thing, it�s just a tightwad thing.
