What A Doggone Evening My next door neighbours are stupid idiots. Or possibly just stupid. Also brain dead and on occasion deaf. Plus annoying. Especially the twelve year old who likes to act like a five year old. I am so intolerant of tweens right now. Why does she insist on running around the backyard at 9am on a Saturday morning screaming out the name of their dog over and over when clearly the dog doesnt want to play with her because it knows how annoying she is? Smart dog really, shame they named her after an inferior car. So the last few days have been rather quiet and lovely. They have gone on holiday BUT they have left their dog behind. Their dog is bored, worried, etc and likes to bang on the metal fence/gate at three in the morning. It sounds like someone is throwing bowling balls at sheet metal. And its right outside my window. And she does it for hours without stopping. Someone one street over could hear it and came to investigate. My dad spent some time trying to calm the dog down, she was practically hyperventilating. Have they not heard of boarding kennels? Shes a big dog, she needs exercise, attention, oh and food! Stupid idiots. She actually does this when the neighbours are home too...but apparently they are too deaf to hear it while the rest of the street suffers. I had to go to the other side of the house to try and get some sleep. It was so not fair. Tyd DOGGIE UPDATE: Apparently they were supposed to take the dog with them on holidays but the father decided at the last minute not to. He asked some neighbours up the street to feed her (which they have been doing) and they said if the noises continue they might bring her up to their place and put her in the garage at night. My Dad has put some stuff against the inside of the gate so she cant hurt herself. I think that she mainly just gets up on her hind legs and shakes the gate with her front legs, the part where it joins makes the clanging noise. |
