The weekend of the 16th and 17th of July I will not be a fully functioning human being. I will in fact be descending into the frame of mind I associate with anything Harry Potter related.

Oh yes, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is being released on the 16th of July and I think I should stock up on the cans of beans and ham right now because there is no way I will be leaving my house to venture outside to do anything remoted related to "socialising" as I will have my head buried so far in that book my brain will have paper cuts.

I might even buy a new chair for the occasion. One of those circular cane things with a giant cushion bit in the middle...oh it's just too hard to explain, but awfully comfortable.

I think I'll just preorder and then turn up at release time, no need to camp out for it like last time. I was so tired and weirder out that I didn't enjoy it. I think I will have to keep slowly myself down mentally to enjoy this one.
