Last time I met someone�s parents was with my ex. I ended up meeting his dad for the first time in the kitchen after a big night and I was wearing nothing but one of the ex�s shirts. For some reason I didn�t find that at all embarrassing or intimidating. Maybe cause I didn�t feel compelled to make a good impression.

Last night I had to make a good impression. I was so nervous meeting Gorgeous�s parents. I think it�s because I care so much for him that I don�t want anything to stuff up the relationship that we have right now.

So I met them. I didn�t say anything stupid, I even drank a whole glass of wine without saying anything stupid, some sort of miracle really. They were funny and great. It was almost like sitting around the table with my parents actually. Very relaxed people, very warm and very welcoming. Phew! I really like them a lot.

All in all it seemed to go well so I think they liked me too :o)
