A fashion show in Martin Place, with a fake beach and lots of beautiful people in swimsuits. I mean, in theory it�s a great idea. Just one small problem.

It�s fricken winter!

Yes we�re all very impressed that you�re trying to show us all the new crap fashion from Europe so we�ll have those extra four months until summer gets here to prepare.

But seriously � the models are very, very skinny, they don�t have blubber to keep them warm like the average person. And you�re making them splash around in water whilst wearing tiny pieces of lycra and whatever else swimsuits are made of in the open air with overcast skies and low temperatures. You�re going to kill them all!

Why am I so concerned about models? They probably make more a week than I do in a year.

Hrumph. They could probably afford some high-tech surgery that harnesses the power of mobile phone towers to warm their skin from the inside out.

Hmmm, crispy model.
