No Coke Bottles Were Harmed In The Making Of This Entry I got new glasses yesterday. I like them a lot better than the blue frames I had when I was 12. It appears that since I last had glasses my eyes have done a complete flip and changed the way they choose to malfunction. I got multifocal lenses because I need them a bit when I�m reading and with computer work and also when I�m driving at night and going to the cinema. They are pretty standard, black framed and squarish. The added benefit of course is that they make me look intelligent and everyone knows they base their thoughts on first impressions hehe. So after I give them the false impression that I�m a genius we can settle into a conversation about how funky pants with Velcro are and they will just think I�m an eccentric genius and not a half brain. I love having the glasses for distance because now I can see people from a distance and be able to recognise them as friend or foe cause I have a history of totally ignoring (not on purpose) people that I know when I�m walking towards them cause to me they are just a body with a fuzzy head. So of course yesterday I got all excited about wearing them and I didn�t see anyone I knew. Life can be like that. Do you see what I see? Tyd 19 April 2002 - 9:57 am |
