It's Not All About The Dalmatians I am really enjoying working as a temp. Because every other week it�s a new job with something new to learn. And I don�t mean various different ways to fax, photocopy or file a document � I mean useful things. I�m working for the fire brigade for the next three weeks or so and have been learning a lot. After a morning spent collating fire safety and prevention manuals, I am now fully aware of anything and everything pertaining to fires in the home. Especially in the kitchen. So now instead of concentrating on work I�m sitting here wondering if the smoke alarm in the house is working, if the battery still works, whether or not there is a battery in there and where I could buy myself a small extinguisher and a fire blanket to keep next to the stove. And the following things are running through my brain at regular intervals "Teach your children that matches are a TOOL not a toy" and "Smoke Alarm - Battery = Useless" Remember kids, safety first!
