Of Entries and Weather

I think I have discovered why I havent done many entries here in the last few months. Because all my typing therapy is being used here. Anything about the wedding, or just in general, has been spewed forth into the forums and there is nothing left over for here.

So now Im going to make a concerted effort to type here. There is a whole lot of stuff I could talk about from our recent (May is still recent, right?) trip to the UK and Ireland.

I could talk about the weather. For instance, when we were on holidays it only rained about 4 or 5 days out of the 27 we were there. Some sort of miracle really, considering we spent two weeks in Scotland, otherwise known as Well never have a drought country. Dont get me wrong, LOVE Scotland, feel really comfortable there (almost like its home) but the fact is that it rains there. A lot.

Now The Sexy managed to get burnt whilst in Scotland. Yesirre. Burnt! You just dont expect sunshine and t-shirt weather especially as the day we arrived in Plockton was windy, cold and raining and we could barely see three feet in front of us.

And then he went and got a tan in Ireland. Also a fairly notorious raining country. We couldnt figure it out, why were we getting such great weather? This is not what the UK and Ireland is known for.

However we enjoyed this summery type time and when we got home were rewarded with freezing rain and gale force winds.

Good on you Sydney, nothing like a few 9C days to shake you right out of holiday-mode and back into reality.

Shiveringly yours
