A Finland Christmas - Got It Pegged On this trip I got to try a few different airlines that I hadn't previously had any experience with. I don't think I've ever flown overseas on an airline that doesn't have announcements in at least two languages. On the way home we were flying with Finnair and when they served us a meal Gorgeous found something rather unusual with the meal. A peg. A tiny blue and white (Finnair colours) peg underneath the butter packet. Hmmmm. As far as we could tell it served no purpose for the meal. It wasn't edible, there was no tiny napkin to wash and hang up and there was no stinky cheese that we may need to block our nose before eating. Maybe it was to keep our brains occupied on the flight to Beijing because there are no individual screens and the movie selection was dubious. *shrug* One of life's little mysteries no doubt Warmly yours (damn this summer weather) Tyd 24 January 2006 - 1:48 pm |
