13% Above Average Lung Capacity Ive discovered a new social embarrassment for myself. It involves a full waiting room, a Neverfail water dispenser and a little plastic jar with a yellow lid. I talk of course of the urine sample. Which in itself is fairly embarrassing, handing over a warm jar filled with natures other apple juice to a smiling nurse. The worst thing is though when you dont have a full bladder and you have to sit in the waiting room downing cup after cup of water so that youll be able to provide them with their sample. Because everyone else in the waiting room knows why youre drinking so much water and their eyes unknowingly follow you from seat to water cooler (which you conveniently didnt sit right near and must traverse the wide expanse of the waiting room that five minutes beforehand seemed tiny). Then after three brimming cupfuls of urine inducing water you have to get up out of your seat and head to the toilet with everyone fully aware of what you have to do, your plastic jar in hand and the receptionist smiling to herself. All in all the rest of the medical was fine. First medical Ive had and it seemed so awfully old fashioned. Turn your head this way, cough, touch your toes, bend backwards, close your eyes and balance. It was required by the company though so now I am a full-time employee of [insert company name here]!
