Normally he's a dribbling, clawing, meowing flea bag of fur that sheds no matter what time of the year.

So anyway, cute story. Right.

My Mum came home from bowling on Tuesday and she found Mac out the back with one of his paws down a hole in the decking. He seemed quite determined to get whatever it was down there and bring it up to him. Mum could imagine it was some poor hapless bird or little rodent so she rushed over to find out what was so interesting to him.

She looked through the slats of the decking and found out what he kept trying to paw to the surface - it was a photocopy of me. I'd found it in my room and put it in the recycling bin out the back but it had blown off and was underneath the decking. Mac had spent a good few minutes trying to 'rescue' me from under the decking.
