CSI: My Suburb I was walking home last night (part of my New Years resolution and in cooperation with the healthy eating plan) and was surprised to see the entrance to my street alive with activity. Police cars, fire brigade, HAZMAT trucks, a tow truck carrying a WRX which had been finger printed and a bunch of police and firemen carrying breathing apparatus and hazardous waste bags. Something exciting! A drug bust? A murder? A bomb producing factory? Sadly the answer to all questions is - no clue. Absolutely no idea. They were there for nigh on 12 hours and every gossip in the street is still none the wiser. I thought it might be on the news last night, but nothing. I suppose the news programs are just getting a little bored with the giant crime spree spreading through the south-west. Maybe if someone had been shot they might have covered it.
