Stomp In winter you forget about the hazards of pubs and clubs. Im talking in particular about the hazard of people treading on your feet and generally making your feet resemble the aftermath of a slasher film in the morning as their shoes grind into your foot. In winter I wear boots so it doesnt effect me. But I didnt on Saturday night. I wore open-toed, slip-on high heels. This was my first mistake. I have discovered that Coogee Bay Hotel has the stompiest of people. Or everyone was just really trashed and couldnt walk in a straight line. My right foot was half covered in dried blood by the end of the evening. Its savage! I couldnt wear my shoes as I was in too much pain so I walked back to Tegs place barefoot. As filled with alcohol as I was I could still feel how cold it was. Which meant it must have been really cold! Stands to reason that it snowed in the Blue Mountains. Then I couldnt wear shoes yesterday. Blisters and cuts and bruises made it not possible. My second mistake was not remembering that these high heels cannot be worn for long periods of time cause they give me blisters no matter what. But the good outcome of the night, had the best gosh darn pie Ive ever tasted! Loved it so much I had two. If Tegs didnt need to desperately go home to the toilet I may have sat there eating steak, bacon and cheese pies until the sun came up...or until my money ran out. *drools* Tyd 16 August 2004 - 12:32 pm |
