This is about slugs.

It's a pretty standard thing. It rains, slugs and snails turn up. It's what they do. However I am beginning to think that we are having more than our fair share of slugs.

For instance last week it rained and when I went into the kitchen there was no less than 9 slugs on the back door. And that was just the back door. There were a handful on the wall leading to the bathroom and three in the bath!

I suppose we could put down some slug pellets or something...but even though they are rather annoying when you're not wearing shoes and you get that horrible squishy feeling underfoot, they are rather cute in that "hello, I'm a snail that forgot it's house".

Plus if you're feeling particularly sadistic, a nice dash of salt can create some interesting effects
