Day 7 - Canberra (Fyshwick here we come!) Accident prone Lauren. She hit her head twice as she was jumping into the bus and on our first night in Canberra she was hit in the face with a vacuum cleaner pipe. Some kinky act you ask? Unfortunately no. We had gone along to the Gorman House Arts Centre to watch a play called Punch! Lozza, Twyla and I sat in the front row not thinking anything could happen. I mean the set was a chair, a door, a bar and an assortment of props hanging from the roof. Some of which were guns, handcuffs and a noose. They didn�t tip us off. In a certain scene Punch and his wife Judy (hehe, yes I know!) were struggling with a vacuum cleaner when the pipe comes unstuck and smacks Lauren right in the chin. The actors faces reflect that of a deer caught in head lights. Punch says to Judy �Look what you�ve done� I give him the �she�ll be right mate� look and they continue on. But as God pointed out Lauren could have been in the other room and it still would have hit her. It�s like she�s a homing beacon for all things ouchy. Shameless plug moment: Punch will be coming to Sydney on the 31st of July and running until the 4th of August at the PACT Youth Theatre Sydney St (cnr Railway Pde) Erskineville. Enquiries on 9550 2744. It�s a brilliant play (a contemporary black comedy based on the original themes and story line of Punch and Judy) which was written by Geire Kami a 27 year old actor from Melbourne in 1998/99. Go along and see it, you won�t be disappointed! Oh and they have promised no more vacuum throwing so it�s safe to sit in the audience without a crash helmet on. :o) The two Daniels did a radio interview with 2XX Canberra community radio, Big D even got in a plug for PG's abs and told all the girls to come see the performance. :o) This lead God to make her fifth commandment �Thou shallt not overabuse, use, refer to or manipulate PGs abs in anyway�. What can I say? I�m a sinner. No visit to Fyshwick as yet, but a girl can dream can�t she?
