"Our revels now are ended..." This week has been a very sad one. We lost an icon of the theatre. I can't hope to cobble together any words that express truly how deeply this has affected me and all that knew him, I will try. He truly was one of those people that everyone had a kind word about. He was jolly, thoughtful, giving, magnetic and wonderful. He was taken too soon (as all the great ones inevitably are) and those left behind are finding it hard to pick up the pieces. M2T put it best in her entry here, using words from the last play he acted in that are terribly fitting.
