This is just not fair. I thought it would be a Paulini/Guy final.

Of course this is probably because I was mistaken that Australian Idol was a talent contest. Oh no, it appears to have morphed into a Barnesy-clone-reject-celebration show. If there was a way to personally search out every single person that voted for Shannon Moll, oh sorry that�s Noll, I would. Then I would slap them across the face.

Yes, he did a lovely rendition of �What About Me� but that was weeks ago. You�re supposed to base your voting on the songs done week by week and he has been abysmal of late. The hypnotising power of his �goatee� must be cranking up to full strength. Yes he can sing, in that I-can-win-a-karaoke-competition type way but he�s not Idol material. Can you honestly see them trying to market that to an overseas market? I think not.

Women have got to stop thinking with their vaginas (oh that just sounds gross doesn�t it. Sometimes translating sentences such as �Men have to stop thinking with their penises� just doesn�t come across correctly in the other gender) and vote for talent. The late, great Frank �Old Blue Eyes� Sinatra would have been turning over in his grave if he heard Shannon�s shocking attempt at bringing �New York New York� to life.

I would be okay with Paulini leaving last night if that travesty Shannon wasn�t still in the competition. I sincerely hope that the rumours floating around of people only wanting to vote for �true� Australians isn�t true. If you are a citizen of this country then you are Australian.

And if people wanted to vote for the �true and original� Australians then that would be an Aborigine. Funny how people like to gloss over that fact sometimes. Attention mainstream Australia � white people invaded. We aren�t native. Get it into your thick skull.

I will continue to support Paulini and if she hopes Guy will win, then he gets my vote next week. Always a class act.
