Moving Into The New Neighbourhood

Im going to try something new today. Im going to leave work on time. Nay, even a smidgen early. *gasps and exclaims are heard theres no way! she cant do it! its nigh impossible! people mingle around in confusion* Oh but yes it is possible, but for the past week Ive felt it wasnt so. But now that the archiving (49 boxes to be exact), the big move and the throwing out of stuff from the Paleolithic Era has ceased its back to normal for good old Tyd.

We moved up to the new level this morning (got up at 5.45am to get here by 7.00am I may have been cranky) and its just brilliant. I was sceptical. It IS the executive, darn important people level and also its bright red. I like red as a colour but I dont like that our reception lift area looks like a bright red reproduction of the hallways in Red Dwarf. Were not in space construction people, lets make it look ordinary. But the brightness isnt bothering me so much. Nor are the people. I have a history of not liking the people that sit on the other side of the barrier. Im filled with much not liking of people. But this level just blew me away.

No less than seven people have come to welcome us to the area. How nice is that? Cosidering there are only about 35 people on the level I think thats a nifty turnout! When we moved last time no one welcomed us. Now I feel like theyll be pushing foil covered packages at us that contain the contents of their special recipe casserole. Bless em all!

So its already well progressed into the afternoon and Im quite looking forward to leaving at 5 on the dot. My mind is giggling like a little girl about the whole thing.

Its really hard to concentrate when it does that
