Meanings of Names I found this on someone's livejournal and I thought it seemed like a good idea. Or just something to add to. Whatever. 1. What does your first name mean? Maiden of the sea 2. Your middle name, do you have one? Yes. Jean 3. What does it (your middle name) mean? Gracious gift from God. 4. What about that name at the end (unless you're a Jr. or III or something), what about that one? If it's derived from the English it means beloved. If it's derived from the Scottish (which it is) it means David's son. 5. So, if you were to put the meanings of all your names together, what would it say?
