So I have the cars, the dresses, the suits, the flowers (purples and blues), the table arrangements (blue runners and silver candlesticks), the church, the photographers, the videographers and the reception place all figured out. My dress I think is fabulous (although some friends have deemed it too 80s and lacy � you know who you are and I have made sure your bridesmaid dresses are gross, hehehe. Kidding!). It�s prefect for May weather too as it can be unpredictable. I have left the cake design up to Lel Belle because I know she has good taste in these things. I�ve just asked that it have a bit of blue on it somewhere to go with the colours of the wedding which are blue and silver. The invitations will go with this theme and I�m going to make them myself.

The cars are like gangster cars which I think will go great with the boys suits (dark grey � that charcoal grey) as they will have dark blue shirts and lighter ties. I even considered those hats that they wore back then (trilbys?) but decided that might be taking it a bit far. Honeymoon is an island location of course! Fiji, like my parents did. It�s very commercialised now but I�m sure I won�t notice.

I�m just scanning the list now to see if I can tick everything off as all said and done. Hang on, I forgot one thing. Small, minor detail really...um, a Groom. Darn. I�m sure I can order one in time though. Might have to get it shipped in from overseas. Scotland or Canada have nice selections.

And us girls wonder why boys are scared of us
