False Advertising We were cleaning up the house before visitors were due to arrive and The Sexy said it was time that I threw out the Roses Only box as it was empty and just taking up room. Which got me thinking. Roses Only, it's false advertising. It's not just roses, sometimes you get chocolates (yum and much appreciated) or wine or a teddy bear. How is that Roses Only? Frankly...they should be sued. I'm willing to let them slide for the box (not a rose), the ribbon on the outside (also not a rose) and the paper inside (what a surprise, not a rose!) but I will not let them slide for this.
There wasn't a tag or anything on it, no microchip so in the end we just thought we'd keep it. Might you, after a few days it did start to smell. Maybe it was a rose after all! Tyd 1 November 2009 - 12:35 pm |
